Site policy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Nalenorix (nalenorix.com) handles personal information collected through this website. It covers what is collected, why, how long it is retained, and how to make a request. Nalenorix is an editorial guide to web design courses and does not enroll students or sell courses.

What this policy covers

Four things decide how we treat your information: what you choose to send us, what the site records on its own, who can see either, and how long each is kept. The columns below set out the boundaries before the detailed sections.

You send it

Messages and requests

Your name and email address reach us only when you submit the contact form, and they are used to answer you and to verify any correction you report to a program listing.

The site records it

Pages, device and browser

Standard server logs and cookies record which pages were read and a general sense of the device and browser used, so we can tell what is useful and keep pages loading.

Who sees it

No sale, no handover

We do not sell personal information and we do not pass contact details to the colleges, universities or training providers that appear in our program comparisons.

Nalenorix is a guide, not a school. We do not collect enrolment records, transcripts, payment details or student accounts, because we do not run courses.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you submit a message through the contact form. We also collect limited technical information automatically, including pages visited and general device and browser details, through standard server logs and cookies.

Nothing beyond that is required to browse the site. Comparing programs, reading our skills and tools guide, or checking format and cost notes on a course page does not ask you for any personal detail at all.

How information is used

Contact information is used to respond to your message, to verify corrections you report, and to improve the usefulness of the site. Technical information is used to understand which pages are read and to keep the site functioning correctly. We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not profile visitors to serve advertising on this site.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses cookies to support basic functionality and to understand aggregate usage. Details of the categories used and how to control them are set out in our Cookie Policy. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some site features may not work as intended.

Two kinds of cookies appear here. Functional cookies remember small preferences, such as a dismissed notice, so the page behaves the way you left it. Measurement cookies count visits and page reads in aggregate, which tells us whether a comparison page is doing its job. Neither kind is used to build an advertising profile.

How information is shared and kept

Each row below answers one practical question about your data. If a request you want to make is not covered here, the contact section at the end of this page explains what to send us.

Sharing and disclosure

Third parties and the law

We do not sell personal information. We do not share contact details with the institutions or training providers covered on this site, so submitting a message here never triggers a call from a school. Information may be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of the site and its users.

Retention

How long we keep it

Contact messages are retained only as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any follow-up. Server log data is retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised, and the copy we work from no longer identifies you.

Your choices and rights

Access, correction, deletion

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or request deletion, subject to applicable law. You may also object to certain uses. To make a request, contact us through the contact page and describe what you need, naming the message or date involved so we can locate the record.

Children's privacy

General audience site

This site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

Current version

We may update this policy when practices change or when required. The current version is always available on this page and replaces any earlier version. Continued use of the site after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy. If a change affects how contact messages are handled, the updated wording appears here before it takes effect.
